Affiliate Disclosure

This guide earns a commission when a reader books a tour through a link on these pages. That is the whole commercial model. This page sets out where the money comes from, where it does not, and why a link never shapes what gets recommended.

How The Links Make Money

This site earns commissions on several kinds of travel products. Tours and experiences are the core of it: guided walks of Évora, day trips from Lisbon, megaliths and cork excursions, wine and food outings and balloon flights all carry affiliate links. Stays, car hire, airport transfers, bus and train tickets, luggage storage, eSIM data plans, flights and audio tours are monetised in the same way. When a reader books through a link, the booking platform or the operator's listing pays the fee. Nothing is added to what the reader pays.

What Readers Never Pay For

Monuments and museums that sell their own tickets are linked straight to the venue, and this site earns nothing on those sales. The Sé de Évora at 5.00 EUR, the Capela dos Ossos at 7.00 EUR and the Museu de Évora at 8 EUR all work this way, and so does the Évora Ticket. The free walking tours charge no ticket price at all, since guides are paid by tip, though a booking made through GuruWalk may earn this site a fee.

What Commission Never Changes

Which tours appear, and in what order, is an editorial call. No operator pays to be featured, ranked or reviewed, and no tour is included here because money changed hands. The ratings and review counts quoted on these pages are the operators' own published figures, reproduced only where they exist. The price is untouched either way: a reader booking through a link pays the platform's price, no more, and a reader booking direct pays the same.

Commission never moves a ranking or a price on this site. Questions go to the contact page, and the privacy policy covers data.
